The National Emancipation Association 36th Annual Juneteenth Parade will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in Downtown Houston. The parade will kick-off the weekend activities and is the longest running parade featuring over 3,000 entries of colorful Floats, Western Wagons, Trail Riders and Marching Bands representing over 15 different high schools. Hosted by the National Emancipation Association, Inc.
